North Saanich Ranked 4th Best Place to Live in Canada
Canada continues to gain international recognition year after year as one of the best countries to live in, for the past two years placing second in the U.S. News & World Report’s annual world ranking survey. Highly regarded in the international community as a country full of friendly people and natural beauty, Canada is second to only Switzerland as the overall best country to live in.
However with a landscape that ranges from rivers and mountains to wide open plains, it can be hard to decide where to live.
Moneysense, a popular Canadian finance magazine, has ranked over 400 Canadian cities based on a variety of factors including income, economy, transit accessibility, weather, and more. Vancouver Island, with its beautiful coastline and exciting community held several of the top places.
Victoria’s own North Saanich came in at number four on the list, with highlights including access to health services, high wealth and incomes, and low crime. North Saanich is also a great place to work, with average income just over $100,000 and average home values around $840,000.
