Central Saanich and Colwood Rank in Top 20 Places to Live in Canada

Canada continues to gain international recognition year after year as one of the best countries to live in, for the past two years placing second in the U.S. News & World Report’s annual world ranking survey. Highly regarded in the international community as a country full of friendly people and natural beauty, Canada is second to only Switzerland as the overall best country to live in.

Central Saanich came in at number fourteen on the list, with highlights including access to health services, great public transit options, and high incomes and wealth. Saanich is also a great place to work, with average income just over $91,000 and average home values around $709,000.

Colwood also made the top 20, coming in at number nineteen on the list. Highlights include access to health services, great public transit options, and healthy community and arts programs. Colwood also has a high median household income at around $98,500, and more affordable real estate, with an average home price of $564,000.
